As. Soft Autumn, I have been practicing with value contrast. I chose soft sage colour top, and tried it with two different pants: khaki olive and almond coloured.

I then took full body photos and noticed that lighter coloured pants created less contrast, which looked a lot better on me, or I should say that I looked a lot better in softer contrast.

I will keep playing, taking photos, and learning 🌸 Have a beautiful holiday in France!

I love the real world example. While I hope not to have one of those accessories for a while yet, I will take your example to heart...and find my summer hat.

Sun hat is thoroughly recommended. I am obsessed with shielding my face from the sun and have one old faded one that I use around the garden and when swimming, and then this straw hat, which I call my "Sunday hat" 😂 for using when venturing out in public.

Have a wonderful holiday in France. I believe that you’re in for some very hot days.

These posts have been very useful indeed…especially the advice on how to wear the softened pink t shirt as a Bright Winter. I think white trousers will become my go-to for the summer.

Thank you for showing us how this looks ‘out in the wild.’ Bon Vacances.

I love your real life example, Jorunn! The pink with white is more refreshing! This week has been so busy I haven’t had time for proper outfit workshopping. hope to workshop my DA contrast levels soon.

Btw Jorunn, the settings in this channel don’t allow us to add pictures in comments, like in other channels.

I know! It's super annoying. You might try posting photos as a Substack note, and then tagging me to alert me of the photos, so I can see them! Or, you can send them to me by DM, with or without permission to publish the photos on Substack as part of a follow-up post.
