Help! I need help using my colour fan!
I am totally lost when trying to pinpoint the correct colours...
Welcome to Wardrobe Wednesday, little micro masterclasses on how to use colour. To make you a quietly fabulous sage, oozing of understated casual self-confidence.
It all started when I got this email from one of my lovely readers:
Hello,
Thank you for your email and I look forward to receiving your updates! I have a slightly random question.Fortunately, I actually love my bright winter colours but I often have difficulty finding an exact match with my colour fan and the clothing. Do they need to be an exact match and what if there is a piece of clothing that is "between" the two bright winter colours? Does this mean it is not a match?
Thank you in advance from a colour loving Bright Winter.
It made me set aside my teacup, flex my fingers, and open up my laptop. And here is my answer:
Dear Colour Loving Bright Winter.
First of all, your question is not random. In fact, I find it honest and important, and am very happy to have this opportunity to give a few tips for using your colour fan.
I have gathered some tips on using your colour fan, the palette that you got when you had a colour analysis, and are now twirling nervously around in your hand, wondering how to use it to choose the perfect colour for your next Winter coat. The little pointers in this post work for any colour analysis fan in any colour analysis system. And Iβm also giving the link to a free online course to help you get the most out of your colour fan.
